Is this real redaction, or just a black box?
Real redaction. Every page you mark is rebuilt as an image with the blocks burned in, so the text and data underneath are removed — they cannot be selected, copied or recovered.
What happens to the pages I redact?
A redacted page becomes a flattened image, so its other text is no longer selectable either. Pages you don’t mark are kept unchanged, with their text intact.
Does anything get uploaded?
No. The whole process runs in your browser; your document never leaves your device.
