PDF documents

PDFs selected in Merge PDF are read and processed in the memory of your browser tab. They are not uploaded to FERVIST or the hosting provider. The merged result is offered through a temporary local blob: download URL. Closing or reloading the tab clears the working session.

The page may fetch fixed same-origin program files and self-hosted fonts. Document contents, filenames, passwords and document-derived identifiers are never added to those requests.

Hosting and security logs

The website is intended to be delivered through Cloudflare Pages. Like any hosting and CDN provider, Cloudflare may process ordinary request and security data such as IP address, date and time, user agent and the fixed asset path requested. This is used to deliver and secure the website, based on the operator’s legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Such data is retained only as long as needed for delivery, security and incident handling, subject to the provider configuration and contract. It is not used by FERVIST to build visitor profiles.

Cookies and browser storage

This release sets no cookies and contains no advertising or analytics. If you change the colour theme, the functional key fervist-theme stores onlylight or dark in localStorage. No document data is stored there.

When you contact us

If you email us, we process your email address, message, technical mail metadata and any information you choose to provide. The purposes are to answer the request, handle a complaint or take requested pre-contractual steps. Depending on the request, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f), 6(1)(b) or 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Messages are retained until the matter is resolved and afterwards only for as long as reasonably necessary for administration, legal obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Please do not email confidential PDF files.

Recipients and transfers

Hosting/CDN and email infrastructure providers may process the limited data described above to provide their services. FERVIST does not sell personal data. Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, the applicable contractual or legal transfer safeguards are used.

Your rights

Where applicable, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing. Contact contact@fervist.com. You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
